This is a 12 month contract
We are looking for a Senior Talent Sourcing Strategist to leverage deep market intelligence and research expertise to design and implement innovative recruitment strategies. This role is crucial for enabling best-in-class talent pipelining (ahead of demand) and delivering the right talent, at the right time, to meet our business transformation objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Sourcing & Pipelining: Design and implement efficient and effective sourcing strategies, customized to the role and market segment. Build robust, engaged talent pipelines ahead of demand for current and future opportunities.
- Market Intelligence: Proactively gather, curate, and share labour market insights and competitive intelligence to influence talent attraction and retention strategies.
- Innovation & Data: Continually assess existing talent sourcing channels using data to determine efficacy and identify/assess new channels and technologies on an ongoing basis to access fresh talent pools.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with Talent Acquisition specialists, HR, and senior line managers to provide an expert, differentiated candidate identification and attraction service.
- Talent Leadership: Contribute to the development of sourcing capability in the wider team and educate senior managers on sourcing processes and methodologies.
- Compliance & Metrics: Take accountability for critical success measures (e.g., quality of hire, time to hire) and ensure sourcing compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., LRA, BCEA, POPIA).
Requirements include:
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years in a full-cycle talent acquisition role with demonstrable success in proactive talent sourcing.
- Education: A Degree in related fields (e.g., Business Psychology, Competitive Intelligence).
- Preferred Certification: Specialist Talent Sourcing Certification (e.g., AIRS, Certified People Sourcing Professional - CPSP) is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using Applicant Tracking/CRM systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) and various sourcing tools/platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean strings to x-ray sites).
- Credibility: Possess the expertise and credibility to influence talent sourcing strategies with senior candidates and leaders.
- Analytical Ability: An analytical thinker who uses data to tell stories and drive decisions.
