Job Description:
Are you a results-driven leader with proven experience managing teams and financial administrative processes? Do you specialize in the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle and excel at mitigating risk? Join our client and take ownership of critical financial operations.
This is a 6 month contract with our client in the banking sector
Budget: R42 500, per month
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas
- Team & Performance Management: Manage a team by setting operational plans, monitoring performance against targets, conducting workforce planning, and managing underperformance.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to, address all audit issues, ensure policies and processes are continually reviewed, and maintain compliance with the business continuity plan through regular testing.
- Operational Excellence: Continually optimise efficiency through project management and innovation, manage staff utilisation and operational expenses, and drive a culture of solution-orientation within the team.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and sustain strong internal and external relationships, manage service delivery in terms of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and provide insightful monthly reports and feedback.
Requirements include
- Advanced Diplomas/ Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 5 years of role-relevant experience.
- 2-3 years experience managing others in a Procure-to-Pay process
- Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting Principles, Governance, Risk and Controls, Business Administration, and Change Management.
- Proven ability in Aligning Performance for Success, Guiding Team Success, Decision Making, and Driving for Results
