Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with a specialization in IBM Enterprise Content Management (ECM) technologies to join our dynamic team at one of the leading banks on a 12 month contract. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with Java, IBM Filenet P8, Taxonomy, and related technologies. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with a focus on ECM solutions using IBM Filenet P8, Taxonomy, and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
- Implement and integrate IBM ECM solutions with other enterprise systems, including databases and web services.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to ECM and Java development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
- Proven expertise in IBM ECM technologies, including Filenet P8, Taxonomy, and Content Foundation Services (CFS).
- Experience working with AIX, Linux, Unix operating systems.
- Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) and Web Services (XML, SOAP).
- Strong database skills, preferably with IBM DB2.
- Familiarity with IBM Content Navigator (ICN) and WebSphere Application Server (WAS) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
