Job Description:

This is an exciting new permanent position at Ovations Technologies. Hybrid - Remote

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant consulting experience as a K2 System Engineer.
  • Should be able to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a larger development team on complex initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of workflow automation, content management, and decision management concepts and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in the development, deployment and support of workflow/case management solutions on the K2 platform. Full SDLC lifecycle experience preferred, from requirements gathering to development, testing and deployment.
  • Solid understanding of IT service management concepts and best practices.
  • Technical experience (K2): K2 Five/K2 Cloud, K2 Designer, K2 SmartForms, K2 SmartObjects, K2 Workspace
  • Technical experience (Other): SQL Server, C#/.NET, JavaScript, REST/SOAP web services, SharePoint, RedHat. Upskilling on the in-house workflow management portal will be required.

Required qualifications/certifications

    • Tertiary preferred (Computer Science or Information Technology).

    • The K2 Intermediate System Engineer has a solid foundation in the K2 platform, capable of designing, developing and implementing workflow automation solutions to streamline business processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, practical experience, and strong soft skills to effectively translate business needs into functional applications.
  • Job Specification
    • Collaborate in the configuration and deployment of new K2 solutions, and enhancements to existing K2 solutions.
    • Interface with the customer to understand requirements and investigate issues reported on a day-to-day basis.
    • Assist with K2 workflow design, resolve defects and provide enhancements.
    • Install, configure, and customise K2 components and provide post-deployment and ad hoc sanity checks.
    • Administer K2 server environment, including user configuration and permissions.
    • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for K2 solutions. Apply system updates and patches and assist with repairs on diagnosed issues.
    • Monitor K2 systems for performance and health and provide proactive health checks. Drive improvements and propose innovative solutions.
    • Resolve user queries and assist different teams involved in the overall solution.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Provide 2nd-level system analysis and diagnostics, and document resolutions as part of the FAQ.
    • Provide input into system administrator training.
