We are seeking a skilled Murex Business Analyst to join our team at Menara CIMB (MCIMB) for a 12-month contract. This role involves working closely with the Treasury team to analyze business domains, document processes, and ensure that system architectures meet business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the business domain and document processes and systems to ensure alignment with Treasury’s business model.
- Manage data migration requirements and document data transformations for new systems.
- Act as a liaison between Treasury’s business desks, stakeholders, and vendors.
- Monitor and resolve defects, ensuring vendor understanding and resolution.
- Gather and communicate change requests to vendors post-requirement gathering.
- Ensure user access management and audit trails comply with IT security policies.
- Gather user feedback post-system go-live for issue resolution and enhancements.
- Collaborate with Treasury desks to prepare and document business requirements.
- Document end-to-end system architecture with internal GT and IT vendors.
- Review functional and technical specifications to ensure they meet business needs.
- Provide test cases for UAT/ORT/SIT processes.
- Conduct and review conversion trial runs and data reconciliation.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, or equivalent.
- Experience in Treasury or banking projects.
- Proven track record in delivering medium and/or large-scale projects.
- Hands-on experience in migration activities for front-to-back programs in banking or large corporate treasury.
- Strong understanding and experience in designing and implementing banking building blocks.
- Experience with finance and accounting products.
- Proficiency in SQL/PLSQL/Hibernate SQL.
- Exposure to messaging protocols such as XML/FPML.
- Familiarity with Unix/Shell scripting.
- Strong understanding of relational databases.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and Confluence.

- Strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent English proficiency.
- Familiarity with CRM tool implementations.
