We are seeking an experienced System Engineer to support and maintain the customers IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and core Microsoft services, while coordinating closely with the Taiwan HQ team for configuration changes and issue resolution.
Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, maintain, and support Dell servers.

Manage and maintain Dell and NetApp storage.

Administer and support VMware environments.

Support and maintain Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Active Directory (AD).

Perform configuration and tuning for servers, storage, VMware, Exchange, and AD.

Coordinate with Taiwan HQ for configuration adjustments and escalations.

Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability according to business needs.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar infrastructure-focused role.
- Strong hands-on experience in server administration (preferably Dell).

Strong hands-on experience with storage systems (Dell / NetApp).

Strong hands-on experience in VMware configuration and maintenance.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory.

Able to take over responsibilities immediately with minimal training.

Good communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to work with Taiwan HQ.

Able to work onsite in Penang, following customer working hours.
Nice-to-have:

Experience in an enterprise IT support or managed services environment.

Familiarity with ITIL practices or structured incident/change management.

Exposure to backup solutions, monitoring tools, or disaster recovery.

Ability to document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
