Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Translate functional and technical requirements into clean and efficient code.

• Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities based on the product roadmap.

• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.

• Apply modern Android architectural patterns such as MVVM and Clean Architecture.

• Integrate RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party SDKs efficiently.

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and root cause analysis.

• Monitor post-release performance metrics and resolve production issues promptly.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.

• Strong foundation in OOP, data structures, and software engineering principles.

• 2–5 years of hands-on mobile application development experience.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience focused on Kotlin and/or Java.

• Strong command of Kotlin and/or Java.

• Solid understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.

• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and JSON.

• Experience with version control tools such as Git.

• Experience implementing MVVM or Clean Architecture.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with SQLite / local storage will be an added advantage.
