Job Title:

SAP MM (Material Management) Consultant

Overview:

The Digital Supply Chain Competence Center is seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant to support Material Management processes across all ROCKWOOL operating companies (OPCOs). This role offers international exposure and significant career growth opportunities within a global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide second-line IT support for SAP MM services, addressing incidents, service requests, and change requests (RFC) globally within agreed SLAs.

Configure the SAP MM module and manage cross-module integration with SD, LES, and FI for end-to-end business processes.

Ensure seamless integration with third-party vendors via EDI and other procurement systems such as web shops.

Execute full-cycle SAP support: customizing, unit testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), production rollout, and post-go-live support.

Participate in global RFC initiatives, including cost/benefit estimation and solution design.

Continuously optimize SAP MM solutions based on evolving business needs.

Collaborate with consultants from MM and other SAP modules to ensure stable daily operations.

Monitor and report on MM-related KPIs.

Maintain close alignment with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional digital teams, OPCOs, and the Group Sourcing & Procurement (GSP) team.

Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation.

Ensure operational procedures and support processes are clearly documented and regularly updated.

Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Logistics Engineering or a related field.

Hands-on experience with SAP Supply Chain Management, focusing on the MM module.

Involvement in at least two full-cycle SAP implementations, demonstrating timely delivery and quality outcomes.

Strong functional understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.

Proven ability to translate business requirements into SAP solutions and drive process improvements.

Experience working in multicultural, remote, and international teams.

Familiarity with EDI P2P processes is an advantage.

Exposure to Agile methodologies is a plus.

Background in purchasing or procurement departments is considered a benefit.

Additional Requirements:

Certifications: Preference for candidates with SAP and/or APICS certifications.
