About the job DevOps Integration Specialist
Role Overview:
Wessex Water is looking for an experienced DevOps Integration Engineer to join our Software Development team. Youll serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in integration technologies, working closely with project teams to design, implement, monitor, and maintain robust integration solutions using the Azure tech stack.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and support of integration platforms.

Design, implement, and monitor integrations using Azure services.

Collaborate with architects, developers, QA, and PMs to ensure best practices.

Ensure integration development aligns with security and data standards.
-
Support the decommissioning of legacy integration systems.

Mentor developers and support enterprise integration strategy.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Expertise in Azure DevOps, GitHub, and versioning tools.

Strong development experience with .NET, C#, SQL Server, Node.js, PowerShell, and JavaScript.

Proficiency in Azure services: Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Functions, Data Factory, Event Grid.

Knowledge of CI/CD, IaC (Terraform, ARM, Bicep), Visual Studio, NPM.

Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., SonarQube, Selenium).

Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and ITIL processes.
Desirable (Nice-to-Have):

Exposure to AWS integration equivalents.

Experience with MuleSoft, Boomi, Octopus Deploy, Ansible, or Jenkins.

Programming experience in Python, Bash, YAML, or Go.
