We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support, maintain, and enhance business-critical Salesforce CRM applications focused on patient access, healthcare professional engagement, and patient assistance programmes.
Responsibilities
• Support, maintain, and enhance custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce platform technologies.
• Manage incident triage, investigation, and resolution for high-volume patient access case management platforms.
• Analyse recurring and critical incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent technical solutions within agreed service-level agreements.
• Design and develop Salesforce enhancements for patient support programmes, particularly across Latin America.
• Configure and maintain Salesforce Health Cloud workflows supporting patient access and assistance programmes.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch processes, scheduled jobs, and asynchronous integrations.
• Build and enhance user interfaces using Lightning Web Components.
• Maintain Salesforce integrations with external applications, including REST APIs, SOAP services, middleware, and .NET-based backend systems.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment records, and support materials for regulated applications.
• Participate in release planning, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
Requirements
Must-have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, preferably within a production support, application maintenance, or AMS environment.
• Strong experience in Salesforce Apex development, including Apex classes, triggers, batch Apex, scheduled Apex, and queueable/asynchronous processing.
• Strong experience developing custom interfaces using Lightning Web Components.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through REST APIs, SOAP APIs, middleware, or .NET backend services.
• Hands-on experience supporting high-volume Salesforce applications and resolving complex production incidents.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and delivering permanent fixes within defined SLAs.
• Practical experience working in a GxP-regulated environment, preferably within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, biotechnology, or life sciences.
• Experience configuring and supporting Salesforce Health Cloud for patient support or healthcare-related workflows.
• Good understanding of patient access CRM data models, including patients, healthcare professionals, payers, formularies, patient cases, and treatment/support programmes.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, sharing rules, profiles, permission sets, data access, and platform governance.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-have:
• Experience supporting patient access, patient assistance, hub services, or market access platforms.
• Previous experience with the PACT platform, or willingness to complete PACT-specific training or certification.
• Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud or Communities, particularly portals used by healthcare professionals.
• Knowledge of Latin American patient data and regulatory requirements, including Brazil’s LGPD.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Platform Developer I, Salesforce Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Health Cloud Accredited Professional.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical patient support programme workflows.
• Experience with validated systems, change controls, audit trails, computer system validation, and regulated release processes.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
