We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Payment Collection Agent to join our team. As a Payment Collection Agent, you will be responsible for collecting payments from our customers and ensuring timely and accurate processing of all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Contact customers to follow up on outstanding payments and arrange for payment collection

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payment collections and customer accounts

- Resolve any payment discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner

- Work closely with the sales team to ensure all payments are received on time

- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and concerns related to payments

- Monitor and report on delinquent accounts to management

- Collaborate with the accounting department to reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies

- Maintain a positive and professional relationship with customers to ensure continued business and timely payments

- Keep up to date with company policies and procedures related to payment collections

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in payment collection or a similar role

- Strong communication and negotiation skills

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Knowledge of collection laws and regulations is a plus
