Role Overview

Title: Chief Executive Officer
Company: The ParentsTogether Media Network (dba PT Holdings)
Location: U.S. based, remote with flexibility to travel as required
Reports to: PT Holdings Board of Directors

Role Overview: A dynamic media role, grounded in social impact

The CEO will be the architect of a fast-growing, mission-driven media portfolio—launching, acquiring, and scaling content channels reaching millions of Gen Z and millennial parents across social, video, audio, and emerging platforms. For a seasoned new-media executive, the role offers a rare opportunity to pair cutting-edge digital innovation with meaningful social impact at a massive scale.

About the ParentsTogether Media Network

Anchored by its core brand, Motherly (reaching 20MM+ moms monthly), the ParentsTogether (PT) Media Network is a for-profit company that delivers trusted, evidence-based, inspirational and entertaining content that meets parents where they are—across websites, social platforms, email, video, and emerging media formats.

Having acquired Motherly in 2025, the PT Media Network seeks a leader to relaunch the brand, making it an anchor of the network while laying the groundwork for the development and acquisition of new brands.

Part of what makes the PT Media Network unique is that it is owned by ParentsTogether Foundation, a nonprofit charitable organization. As a nonprofit, ParentsTogether’s mission is to help all kids and families thrive by providing parents with trusted information, supportive community, and the resources they need to raise healthy, resilient children. Through advocacy, education, and media, ParentsTogether works to ensure every family has what they need to succeed, and pushes back on the misinformation and division that threaten children's wellbeing. The PT Media Network is a critical part of this mission.

The Opportunity: Building the Future of Parent Media

Strategic Portfolio: Following our June 2025 acquisition of Motherly, we're positioned to become the leading multi-brand media network for the next generation of parents, with a particular focus on Gen Z and millennial families.

Unified Vision with Brand Independence: Each brand in our network operates with creative autonomy while benefiting from shared infrastructure, audience insights, and monetization strategies—allowing us to serve diverse parent communities authentically.

Digital Innovation: This is an opportunity to architect a modern media network from the ground up—experimenting with emerging technologies, new storytelling formats, and innovative revenue models to meet parents where they are.

Mission-Driven Impact: As misinformation and division fragment the digital landscape, our purpose-driven network matters now more than ever—establishing trust across multiple touchpoints and communities through content that celebrates modern families and pushes back on extremism with empathy and truth.

The Role: CEO, ParentsTogether Media Network

We're seeking a scrappy, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven CEO to build and scale ParentsTogether Media Network into the go-to media ecosystem for modern parents. We're looking for a portfolio builder—someone who can architect a multi-brand strategy, identify growth opportunities across existing and future properties, think at both network and brand levels, and bring big ideas to life with limited resources. The ideal candidate is passionate about supporting families, fluent in digital media, and ready to define what a next-generation parent media network can be.

Vision & Strategy

  • Shape the network architecture. Define and execute a clear vision for how multiple brands work together—establishing shared infrastructure, cross-promotion strategies, audience development approaches, and unified revenue opportunities while preserving each brand's unique voice and community.

  • Build the portfolio roadmap. Develop both network-level and brand-level strategic plans that translate vision into action—including acquisition criteria, launch strategies for new brands, key milestones, success metrics, experimentation frameworks, and revenue diversification.

  • Lead brand evolution and expansion. Oversee the continued growth of Motherly while exploring opportunities to acquire, build, or partner on complementary brands serving different parent communities—from new parents to caregivers of teens, from diverse cultural communities to specific parenting journeys.

  • Balance mission and momentum. Manage network-wide financial and operational health with a builder's mindset—making smart tradeoffs that optimize resources across the portfolio while serving both short-term wins and long-term growth.

Brand & Content Development

  • Define the network's editorial vision. Establish a cohesive content philosophy across the portfolio that honors each brand's unique audience while creating opportunities for collaboration, cross-pollination, and shared learning.

  • Drive innovation across brands. Champion original, social-first video franchises, creator-led series, and emerging formats that resonate with Gen Z and millennial parents—testing and scaling what works across the network.

  • Build a "test and learn" culture. Use data, insights, and audience feedback to guide creative decisions, inform new brand development, and spark innovation across the portfolio.

  • Explore untapped parent audiences. Identify and pursue opportunities to serve parents across different stages, backgrounds, and experiences—from fertility and pregnancy to teenagers, from diverse cultural perspectives to specific parenting challenges.

  • Ensure mission alignment. Guarantee that all content across the network furthers ParentsTogether's mission of empowering families and pushing back on extremist or exclusionary narratives with empathy and truth.

Audience & Revenue Growth

  • Scale network reach. Grow the collective audience across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms through smart partnerships, creator collaborations, cross-brand promotion, and community engagement—while maintaining authentic connections within each brand community.

  • Build unified infrastructure. Develop first-party audience data strategies, shared technology platforms, and operational efficiencies that create value across the network and strengthen offerings to advertisers and partners.

  • Diversify revenue streams. Expand and diversify network-wide revenue through sponsorships, branded content, social partnerships, experiential opportunities, and innovative monetization models—including network advertising packages and cross-brand opportunities.

  • Unlock portfolio value. Find creative, scrappy ways to leverage the combined reach, audience insights, and intellectual property across brands—including potential for shared products, collaborative partnerships, or new business models.

Organizational Leadership & External Relations

  • Build a high-performing network team. Recruit and empower a lean leadership team that operates at both network and brand levels—optimizing for speed, creativity, and experimentation across content, revenue, operations, and audience development.

  • Foster a unified culture. Create an environment rooted in collaboration, inclusion, curiosity, and wellbeing—where teams share learnings across brands, big ideas are encouraged, and data informs decisions.

  • Lead by doing. Champion a culture where leaders contribute directly—modeling the hands-on approach needed in an entrepreneurial environment while empowering teams to own their work.

  • Serve as the network's public face. Represent ParentsTogether Media Network as a passionate advocate for parents and families in media, at industry events, and in strategic partnerships.

  • Cultivate strategic relationships. Build and nurture relationships with potential acquisition targets, investors, sponsors, advertisers, and partners who believe in our mission and the power of a multi-brand approach.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media or closely related fields, with a track record of building and scaling content-driven brands or multi-brand portfolios. You've led something significant—a company, division, portfolio, or startup—where success depended on your vision, drive, and ability to get things done.

  • Portfolio thinking. You have built and managed multiple brands or business units simultaneously—balancing shared infrastructure with brand independence, finding synergies without homogenization, and thinking at both macro and micro levels.

  • A builder at heart. You thrive in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments and know how to pair strategic vision with hands-on execution to make real progress across multiple priorities.

  • Proven success creating from scratch. You've taken ideas from whiteboard to reality—whether new brands, products, content franchises, or partnership models—and learned from the scrappy process of trial and iteration.

  • Financial fluency. You've managed budgets, ideally across multiple business units or brands, and understand how to align mission, growth, and sustainability at a portfolio level.

  • Deep understanding of digital media. You stay ahead of trends in audience development, social video, creator ecosystems, platform evolution, and emerging technologies—and translate those into growth opportunities.

  • Strong communicator and connector. You can distill complex ideas and inspire diverse audiences—from sponsors and partners to creators, parents, and nonprofit stakeholders.

  • People-first leader. You lead by doing, empower others, and build trust quickly. You know how to motivate teams to dream big and deliver, especially in matrix or portfolio environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Gen Z and/or parent audiences across multiple demographics or communities

  • Direct experience managing a P&L or multiple P&Ls simultaneously

  • Track record of successful acquisitions, integrations, or new brand launches

  • Startup or early-stage company experience—especially where growth came from creativity, not just capital

  • Deep passion for supporting parents and families—and a belief that storytelling and connection can drive real change

  • Experience working with mission-driven organizations
