Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage M&A transactions from start to finish.
- Draft, negotiate, and review contracts related to business operations.
- Provide legal guidance on corporate reorganizations and governance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation for clients.
- Conduct legal research and keep up with industry trends.
- Support business development and client acquisition efforts.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years in corporate law, specializing in M&A, commercial transactions, and contracts.
- Education: Law degree and membership in the Quebec Bar Association.
- Language Skills: Fully bilingual in French & English to serve a diverse client base.
- Attributes: High autonomy with the ability to manage files independently; strategic, business-oriented mindset with a proactive approach.
- Teamwork: Strong team player with excellent client relationship skills.
