RN MED-SURG (TEMP)

We have a client seeking a Med-Surg RN for a short-term (3) month contract.

Facility Type: Hospital

Shift: 0630-1900 | 48 HOURS/WK GTD

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

At least 1 year of RN Med-Surg Experienced

BLS Certification req'd

Valid AL RN License or Compact License

Work Authorization Requirement 

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assess patients to gain a comprehensive understanding of their condition
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the medical staff
• Proactively monitor patient condition and vital signs, and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications and treatments according to accepted standards of care
• Provide education to patients and families on how to better manage their health
• Interact with members of the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Maintain accurate medical records of patient care
• Document all assessment information, care plans, treatments, and patient response
• Practice in accordance with hospital policies and protocols
