About the Role

You will own critical cost-of-sales analysis spanning raw materials, production, packaging, labor, manufacturing overhead, and distribution. You will partner with Finance, Production, Procurement, and Supply Chain to improve cost visibility and support sound business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and monitor cost of sales across tobacco leaf procurement, processing, packaging, labor, and manufacturing overhead.
  • Deliver standard-versus-actual variance analysis, identify key drivers, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate standard costing models, cost allocations, and inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Lead COS activities during monthly close and deliver timely management reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
  • Analyze yield, waste, and shrinkage across processing and packing operations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, long-term cost planning, audits, and internal controls.
  • Identify savings opportunities and help implement process and efficiency improvements.
  • Partner with operational teams and provide guidance to junior analysts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in cost accounting, financial analysis, or manufacturing finance.
  • Strong command of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, data modeling, and pivot tables.
  • Experience using ERP systems.
  • Advanced English communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes; tobacco or FMCG experience is preferred.
