Medical Billing & Collections Representative

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and service-driven Medical Billing & Collections Representative to support billing and collection activities while communicating effectively with clients, patients, insurance providers, and other parties as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and follow up on medical billing accounts.
• Review billing information and identify discrepancies.
• Follow up on outstanding balances and pending payments.
• Perform collection activities professionally and accurately.
• Maintain updated records of payments, accounts, and collection activities.
• Communicate with clients, patients, insurance providers, and other parties regarding account status.
• Assist in resolving billing and payment issues.
• Perform clerical, administrative, and data-entry duties related to billing.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive information.
• Support documentation and follow-up according to internal procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in medical billing, collections, customer service, call center, administrative support, or related areas is preferred.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Strong computer and clerical skills.
• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Organized and results-oriented.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• Experience working with U.S. medical billing processes is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with AR follow-up, EOBs, claims, denials, patient balances, insurance verification, or billing systems is a plus.
• Availability to work on-site in Bella Vista, Santo Domingo.
