Junior Business Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Business Analyst to support business data, operational processes, and client-facing requirements in a professional environment.

This role includes a strong data entry, review, validation, and reconciliation component. Accuracy, accountability, analytical thinking, and attention to detail are essential for success.

What You'll Do

• Enter, review, validate, and maintain accurate information across relevant business systems.
• Work with platforms that contain financial or finance-related information.
• Identify inconsistencies, missing information, duplicated records, and data quality issues.
• Support reporting, documentation, and basic business analysis activities.
• Help organize operational information so it can be used for decisions, follow-up, and client reporting.
• Collaborate with team members on business, operational, and data-related requirements.
• Communicate with clients in English when required.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with a financial system, accounting platform, business system, ERP, CRM, fintech platform, banking platform, insurance system, or another environment that handles financial or operational information.
• Strong ability to perform data entry accurately and consistently.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to detect inconsistencies in data.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, follow-up, and accountability.
• Good working knowledge of Excel or similar tools used to review, organize, and validate information.
• Conversational English sufficient to communicate clearly and effectively with clients.
• Availability to work on-site in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Perfect or native-level English is not required. We are looking for someone who can understand, respond, and participate effectively in professional conversations with clients.

Nice to Have

• Previous exposure to financial services, fintech, banking, insurance, accounting, collections, payments, reconciliation, or related operations.
• Experience with reporting, data validation, reconciliation, or data quality processes.
• Knowledge of Excel formulas, pivot tables, basic dashboards, or other analysis tools.
• Exposure to SQL, Power BI, automation, data analytics, or workflow improvement projects.
• A GitHub profile or portfolio showing relevant data, automation, reporting, or process improvement work.
