About the job HR Data Integration & Migration Specialist
The HR Data Integration & Migration Lead is responsible for preparing, validating, and transforming workforce data to support HR system consolidation and migration initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and continuity, integrating legacy systems into CORE HRIS (UKG), various integration APIs, and consolidating the iCIMS talent platform into a single tenant aligned with the future-state HR operating model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HR data readiness efforts, including data cleansing, standardization, and validation activities across legacy systems
- Execute data remediation for legacy Acuren HR datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Validate data integrity through audits, reconciliation, and quality checks prior to system migration
- Prepare and structure NV5 workforce data for seamless integration into UKG
- Partner with HR, IT, and project stakeholders to support system consolidation and migration timelines
- Identify data discrepancies, gaps, and risks, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure consistency and alignment of HR data to support accurate reporting and downstream processes
- Document data transformation rules, mapping logic, and validation procedures
- Support testing cycles (e.g., UAT) to confirm successful data migration and system functionality
Qualifications:
- Experience in HRIS data migration, integration, or system implementation (UKG required and ADP preferred)
- Experience in iCIMS data migration and/or integration preferred.
- Strong background in data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes
- Knowledge of HR data structures (employee records, organizational hierarchy, compensation, etc.)
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, IT, and external vendors
- Proficiency in Excel and/or data tools; experience with data mapping and migration tools is a plus
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with mergers, acquisitions, or system consolidation projects
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
- Understanding of reporting requirements and downstream HR processes
