JOB TITLE: Digital Payments Specialist
TERM: 9 months (with potential extension)

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- 10+ years in fintech, digital payments, or banking project delivery
- Experience with Banking as a Service (BaaS), card programs, or mobile wallet launches preferred
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**
- Native Arabic speaker with fluent English
- Deep familiarity with Saudi fintech regulations (SAMA, KYC/AML)
- Immediate availability for full-time Riyadh-based role
- Strong strategic and hands-on delivery capability
PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT
To lead the design, development, and launch of digital wallet a flagship fintech product that will redefine clients digital wallet value proposition. This role ensures operational readiness and commercial success by aligning internal teams and external partners under a unified delivery roadmap. Covering full-cycle delivery, a strategic card-based cash back product developed under a BaaS model. This will transform the digital wallet from a loyalty platform into a fintech-enabled service provider, embedding financial services into its ecosystem.
Scope & Key Activities
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Develop and manage the client project plan, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines
- Lead cross-functional execution across finance, IT, marketing, marketplace, and support teams
- Serve as the central point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational standards
- Deliver a fully operational, scalable, and compliant clients digital wallet platform ready for post-project handover
- Finance Operations & Controls - Monitor the finance teams implementation of cashback workflows, wallet liability tracking, reconciliation, and monthly reporting to ensure financial accuracy and audit readiness.
- Marketplace & Merchant Monetization - Oversee the merchant onboarding process and monetization model rollout, ensuring teams execute segmentation, billing, and subscription strategies effectively.
- Growth Marketing Execution - Coordinate marketing to ensure timely execution of launch campaigns, brand assets, and influencer activations that align with user acquisition goals.
- Customer Success & Support Readiness - Ensure the support team develops and tests user and merchant support journeys, SOPs, and escalation flows in preparation for launch.
- IT Governance & Regulatory Compliance -Supervise the integration of SNBs SDK and ensure IT teams meet SAMA compliance standards and prepare audit documentation.
- Data Infrastructure & Analytics- Guide the data team in defining schemas, building dashboards, and ensuring data readiness for performance tracking and reporting.
- Product-Led Growth & Optimization- Track product performance metrics and ensure the product team iterates on features and flows to drive user activation, retention, and merchant impact.
KPIs
- % of target merchants onboarded and monetized
- User acquisition and activation metrics post-launch
- Operational readiness (e.g., reconciliation accuracy, support SLAs)
Knowledge and Experience
- Deep understanding of digital payments, card systems, and embedded finance
- Familiarity with Saudi fintech regulations and SAMA compliance frameworks
- Strong project management skills (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Experience with BI tools, data modeling, and KPI tracking
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, or Technology (MBA preferred)
