JOB TITLE: Technical Product Manager - Cards

TERM: 6 months 

CLIENT LOCATION: Amman, Jordan

DIVISION: Cards - Issuing 

REPORTS TO: Head of Cards

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 8 years + in Card Issuing with experience in the KSA Market

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**

  1. Local experience Saudi Arabia.
  2. Proficiency in Arabic and English.
  3. Technical skills related to card issuing and transaction processing.
  4. Notice period: Immediate availability preferred.


PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT

The project will be responsible for optimizing customer support flows, ensuring compliance with KSA regulatory requirements, and managing the onboarding procedures for cardholders, organizations, and client portal users. The role also involves understanding the costs associated with card issuing and transaction processing by the Mastercard scheme and creating go-to-market plans for launching new cards.


Key Activities

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  1. Assess and confirm the necessity of stringent onboarding procedures (KYC/KYB) for cardholders, organizations, and client portal users.
  2. Optimize customer support flows and operations.
  3. Ensure compliance with KSA regulatory requirements.
  4. Understand and manage the costs associated with card issuing and transaction processing by the Mastercard scheme.
  5. Create and execute go-to-market plans for launching new cards.
  6. Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless execution of tasks.

KPIs

  1. Successful execution of go-to-market plans.
  2. Successful onboarding of cardholders, organizations, and client portal users.
  3. Compliance with KSA regulatory requirements.
  4. Efficient customer support operations.
  5. Cost management for card issuing and transaction processing.


Knowledge and Experience

  1. 8 Years + in a Product and/or Technical Product Cards role
  2. Bachelors in STEM field (Masters preferred)
  3. Experience in creating go-to-market plans and a comprehensive understanding of MasterCard requirements for launching new cards.
  4. Thorough understanding of customer support flows and operations for Card.
  5. Demonstrable experience with the specific requirements and best practices of the Saudi market, including knowledge of KSA regulatory compliance requirements.
  6. Capable of assessing and confirming the necessity of stringent onboarding procedures (KYC/KYB) for cardholders, organizations, and client portal users.
  7. Understanding of the potential costs associated with card issuing and transaction processing by the Mastercard scheme
