PURPOSE OF JOB

Deployment of the Specialised Business On-site Support (SBOS) for Tokenization Project management


TASKS

Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Manage and support the successful launch and enablement of issuer wallets for the Clients (where applicable)
  • Work with the TPPs of the client to coordinate activities between bank, processor and Mastercard
  • Support the enablement of tokenization with google pay, apple pay, or issuer wallets in country if available
  • Liaise between the Clients various teams and MasterCard implementation and product teams to ensure activities are performed as planned.
  • Ensure the timely readiness on Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES) issuing Tokenization, local wallet TSP tokenization, e-commerce (MPGS) and contactless readiness.
  • Support the go-to-market activities, liaising between Mastercard products and Marketing, various bank teams and the wallet operators.
  • Review and monitor performance of Clients portfolio to ensure that all business and operational indicators of the bank remain top of class.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports on project progress, obstacles, timelines and solutions to move forward reaching the set dates.
  • Market support with all requirements needed by the clients in Digital/e-commerce transformation readiness


Knowledge and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in the payment industry in Tanzania
  • Ability to understand the different complex technical payment topics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven time management and organization skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
