We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager Business Banking to manage and grow a portfolio of SME and mid-market clients. The role involves acquiring new relationships, deepening existing ones, and delivering tailored banking solutions that meet client needs while ensuring portfolio profitability and credit quality.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Manage and expand a portfolio of business banking clients, ensuring strong and long-term relationships.

  • Serve as the primary contact point for clients, providing advisory and banking solutions across products such as loans, trade finance, deposits, and treasury.

  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell banking products and enhance wallet share.

  • Conduct regular client visits and reviews to understand business requirements and financial performance.

Business Development

  • Acquire new clients through market mapping, referrals, and proactive business outreach.

  • Prepare and present financial proposals aligned with the banks risk and pricing policies.

  • Develop sales plans and strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.

Credit & Risk Management

  • Assess client creditworthiness by analyzing financial statements and business models.

  • Prepare and review credit applications, ensuring alignment with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.

  • Monitor portfolio performance and proactively manage early warning signals to mitigate potential risks.

Operational Excellence

  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, AML/KYC, and Central Bank of UAE regulations.

  • Coordinate with internal departments (Credit, Operations, Compliance) for smooth onboarding and transaction processing.

  • Maintain high standards of customer service and operational accuracy.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Banking or SME Relationship Management within a financial institution in the UAE.

  • Strong understanding of corporate credit, trade finance, and lending processes.

  • Proven track record in portfolio growth and revenue generation.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
