We are seeking a results-driven and motivated Inside Sales Manager to lead our internal sales operations in the fast-paced finance and banking sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives, driving lead conversion, and achieving revenue targets through strategic selling of financial products and services. This role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of banking/financial offerings, and the ability to thrive in a metrics-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Sales Strategy:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of inside sales executives to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for cross-selling and upselling financial products such as loans, credit cards, insurance, investment services, or banking solutions.

Lead Management & Conversion:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead qualification to closure, using CRM tools to track performance and customer interactions.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to optimize lead generation and nurture campaigns.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients through phone, email, and digital platforms.
  • Ensure a high standard of customer service and post-sales engagement to improve retention and satisfaction.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Monitor team KPIs and sales performance metrics, and prepare regular performance reports.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas of improvement.

Compliance & Training:

  • Ensure that all sales activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Conduct training sessions to keep the team updated on financial products, compliance guidelines, and sales techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 47 years of inside sales experience, preferably within banking, NBFCs, fintech, or financial advisory firms.
  • Proven team management and sales coaching experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products (loans, credit cards, mutual funds, insurance, etc.).
  • Proficient in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and MS Office tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight targets.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in selling retail or SME financial products via outbound/inbound channels.
  • Understanding of compliance, KYC norms, and financial regulations.
  • Data-driven mindset with an eye for process improvements.
