We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our human resources function within the retail sector. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of HR experience, preferably in managing HR operations across multi-store retail environments. You will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, HR policy compliance, and supporting the growth and development of our retail workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:

    • Lead end-to-end recruitment for retail roles across stores and corporate functions.

    • Develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent aligned with retail business needs.

    • Oversee onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.

  • Employee Relations & Engagement:

    • Act as a trusted advisor to store managers and retail leadership on employee matters.

    • Design and implement employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and retention.

    • Address grievances, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions as needed.

  • Performance Management:

    • Manage performance appraisal cycles and goal-setting processes.

    • Support managers in identifying training needs and coaching for performance improvement.

  • HR Operations & Compliance:

    • Ensure adherence to local labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices.

    • Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HRIS data.

    • Lead audits, HR reporting, and compliance-related documentation.

  • Learning & Development:

    • Identify training needs for retail and corporate staff and implement training programs.

    • Monitor training effectiveness and support career development paths.

  • Compensation & Benefits:

    • Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and attendance systems.

    • Contribute to compensation benchmarking and workforce planning.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in HR, preferably in retail or consumer-facing industries.

  • Proven experience in handling HR operations for multi-location or high-volume retail teams.

  • Strong understanding of labor laws and HR compliance in the region.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Proficient in HRMS/HRIS systems and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth retail environment.
