The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of the organization, playing a key role in financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This position will support strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis and will maintain the integrity of financial records in accordance with internal and external guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, working closely with departmental teams to align financial targets with company goals.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess performance, identify trends, and explain variances.
  • Offer actionable recommendations to enhance profitability, cost efficiency, and financial health.
  • Supervise the preparation of periodic financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
  • Develop comprehensive financial reports for senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to support business operations.
  • Assist in cash flow forecasting and help develop financing strategies for both short- and long-term needs.
  • Oversee treasury activities and maintain strong relationships with banking partners.
  • Ensure all accounting activities comply with recognized standards and internal policies.
  • Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, reporting standards, and internal audit requirements.
  • Track departmental expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Introduce cost-control initiatives and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Provide detailed budget performance analysis to senior management.
  • Identify financial risks and implement strategies to reduce exposure.
  • Enforce internal controls and compliance with financial policies.
  • Drive the development and application of risk mitigation frameworks.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, overseeing daily operations and professional development.
  • Promote a collaborative, results-driven team culture.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate relevant training programs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Masters degree or CPA is a plus).
  • 68 years of experience in finance or accounting with a strong background in budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and applicable regulatory standards is essential.
