Reporting Line: Reports directly to the Director of Marketing and Student Affairs.
Experience Required : Minimum 3 years of hands-on admissions, student recruitment, or education sales experience in a UAE university or higher education institution.
Role Purpose
The Admissions Officer will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Student Affairs to support the day-to-day operations of the admissions function. This is a hands-on, target-driven role that requires strong student counselling, sales, follow-up, and conversion skills.
The role will focus on managing prospective student enquiries, guiding applicants through the full admissions process, coordinating with agents and school counsellors, supporting recruitment activities, and converting qualified enquiries into applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage prospective student enquiries through calls, WhatsApp, email, website forms, CRM, and walk-ins.
- Guide students and parents on programs, eligibility, admission requirements, application steps, deadlines, and required documents.
- Manage the full admissions journey from enquiry to application submission, including follow-ups, document collection, application file preparation, and status updates.
- Convert qualified leads into applications through consistent follow-up, student counselling, objection handling, and clear communication.
- Maintain accurate lead records, enquiry notes, follow-up updates, and application statuses in the CRM or lead tracking system.
- Prepare and maintain admissions FAQs, communication templates, document checklists, application guidance materials, and student-facing information.
- Coordinate with education agents, agent-referred applicants, UAE school counsellors, and school contacts.
- Support school fairs, education fairs, open days, webinars, student recruitment activities, and outreach events.
- Provide administrative support related to admissions coordination, marketing support, scheduling, documentation, and student recruitment activities.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Marketing and Student Affairs on enquiries, applications, follow-ups, and admissions progress.
Required Experience and Skills
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in admissions, student recruitment, or education sales within a UAE university or higher education institution.
- Strong sales and conversion skills, with the ability to turn enquiries into applications through consistent follow-up and proper student guidance.
- Experience managing the full admissions process from enquiry to application submission.
- Strong knowledge of UAE higher education admissions processes, application requirements, document collection, eligibility checks, and application file preparation.
- Good understanding of different school curriculums and education systems, especially within the UAE context.
- Experience working with students, parents, education agents, school counsellors, and recruitment partners.
- Strong communication, persuasion, objection handling, and follow-up skills.
- Experience using CRM systems, lead trackers, student information systems, or similar admissions platforms.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple enquiries, applications, documents, and follow-ups at the same time.
- Hands-on, proactive, target-driven, and comfortable working in a startup or early-stage environment.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
