Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, including bookkeeping, VAT filing, and proficiency in accounting software such as SAGE, Xero, and QuickBooks. Candidates must also have at least 2 years of UAE work experience with a strong understanding of local accounting practices and VAT compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and ensure timely recording of all financial transactions.

• Handle VAT computation, filing, and compliance as per UAE regulations.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.

• Process payroll, expense claims, and petty cash management.

• Support external/internal audits by providing necessary documentation.

• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax laws.

• Use and manage accounting systems such as SAGE, Xero, and QuickBooks.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required.

• Liaise with management and external stakeholders on financial matters.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in the UAE.

• Hands-on experience in bookkeeping, VAT filing, and compliance.

• Proficiency in SAGE, Xero, and QuickBooks accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.

• Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
