Key Responsibilities
Lead Survey Operations

Supervise multiple field crews conducting topographic, boundary, and construction surveys

Manage survey calculations, control networks, and legal boundary descriptions

Ensure deliverables meet applicable regulations and project scope
Oversee Quality and Compliance

Conduct QA/QC reviews on all survey deliverables

Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and local jurisdictional standards

Manage updates for aerial mapping, LiDAR, and sUAS technologies where applicable
Team Leadership and Mentorship

Provide leadership and direction to survey technicians and crew chiefs

Set goals, conduct 1:1 reviews, and support professional development

Coordinate workforce scheduling and productivity management
Client and Project Management

Serve as the point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and scope alignment

Lead proposal development and client presentations

Manage budgets, billing, and project timelines
Required Skills and Expertise
Experience:

10+ years of professional surveying experience
-
Proven leadership in managing survey teams and client engagements
Technical Proficiency:

Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Inroads/Microstation
-
Registered Professional Land Surveyor license (active)
-
Strong command of Federal, State, and local surveying regulations

Other Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
