Introduction/Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Electronics Test Technician to support the assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced electronic systems. Key Responsibilities

Testing & Troubleshooting:

  • Execute diversified testing procedures on electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards.

  • Diagnose and repair circuit-level issues using advanced electronic diagnostic equipment.

  • Calibrate electronic test equipment and maintain calibration records.

Collaboration & Process Improvement:

  • Partner with assembly teams to ensure on-time shipments and product integrity.

  • Coordinate with engineering to develop, refine, and follow test procedures.

  • Assist with the development of test protocols for new product development cycles.

Documentation & Maintenance:

  • Update production and return tracking documents accurately and on schedule.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and minor repairs on test and production equipment.

  • Ensure compliance with government standards related to confidentiality, safety, and performance.

Leadership & Support:

  • Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.

  • Serve as a knowledgeable contributor in product troubleshooting and quality improvement discussions.

Required Skills and Expertise

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a Test Technician.

  • Proficiency with electronic test tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and multimeters.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong working knowledge of digital and RF circuit functionality and diagnostic methods.

  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, work instructions, and assembly drawings.

Professional Attributes:

  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet production and return schedules.

  • High level of reliability and discipline, with 100% on-site presence required (excluding approved PTO or leave).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with engineering, production, and QA teams.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be able to handle confidential and sensitive information under government standards.

  • Must adhere strictly to workplace safety and behavior policies.

Nice to Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Electronic Technology or completion of a technician training program preferred.

  • Experience working in a defense, aerospace, or government manufacturing environment.

Benefits
