We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Writer to support cybersecurity governance documentation within a dynamic and rapidly evolving information technology environment. This position is pivotal in drafting and maintaining procedures, playbooks, and governance documentation supporting enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, project manager, and documentation expert with a proven ability to collaborate across technical teams and organizational levels.

Key Responsibilities

Cybersecurity Documentation & Governance:

  • Write, edit, and maintain technical documentation including procedures, playbooks, standards, and governance materials.

  • Ensure all documentation aligns with cybersecurity compliance, audit, and operational requirements.

Project & Stakeholder Coordination:

  • Lead and facilitate documentation-related meetings across Information Security teams.

  • Manage and track multiple small-scale documentation projects simultaneously.

  • Communicate with stakeholders at varying levels to gather input and ensure accuracy and clarity of content.

Content Design & Office Automation Expertise:

  • Serve as a power user of Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.

  • Develop high-quality, visually appealing documentation using modern templates and formatting.

Information Security Collaboration:

  • Interface directly with Information Security teams to align documentation with current practices and protocols.

  • Proactively identify documentation gaps and propose structured solutions to strengthen governance.

Required Skills and Expertise

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of technical writing experience in Information Technology or Cybersecurity.

  • Proven track record of writing governance-related documentation within cybersecurity frameworks.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Advanced expertise in Microsoft SharePoint, Teams, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity documentation standards and best practices.

Professional Attributes:

  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.

  • High level of self-motivation, accountability, and ownership of deliverables.
