Introduction/Overview

We are seeking an experienced Teamcenter Process Architect with a deep understanding of PLM systems, architecture frameworks, and enterprise integration. In this role, you will collaborate with Process Architect SMEs and Business Analysts to capture requirements, design robust PLM solutions, and lead the configuration, testing, and implementation of Teamcenter across enterprise environments.

Ideal for professionals with strong technical acumen and 15+ years in enterprise architecture, this position will have you working on high-impact data migrations, system integrations, and process design initiatives that bridge engineering and IT solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design:

  • Capture business and technical requirements and conduct detailed gap analysis of existing PLM environments.

  • Develop technical design documents (TDD) and architect scalable, integrated Teamcenter solutions.

  • Provide guidance through the requirement-to-implementation cycle, including solution testing and deployment.

  • Support ongoing documentation and knowledge transfer to production and operational teams.

System Integration & Data Migration:

  • Lead data migration between PLM systems, ensuring integrity and performance.

  • Design and implement Teamcenter integrations, including T4O and T4S connectors.

  • Conduct configuration, debugging, and performance tuning for seamless deployment.

Development & Engineering:

  • Develop in ITK, C, C++, Java, and J2EE frameworks with a strong focus on core Java concepts (loops, threading, file I/O, collections).

  • Utilize SQL and RDBMS technologies for backend processes and data handling.

  • Parse and manage XML files for configuration and communication layers.

Process Innovation & Optimization:

  • Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, quality, and operations.

  • Guide teams through issue-based problem-solving, issue definition, and work plan development.

  • Participate in the development of 3D models, engineering drawings, and specifications as needed.

Required Skills and Expertise

Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in information technology with a concentration in PLM systems, enterprise architecture, or Teamcenter development.

  • Strong track record of delivering technical design and integration within Teamcenter environments.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Data migration between PLM systems.

  • Advanced programming skills in C, C++, Java, and J2EE.

  • Experience with Active Workspace (AWC), Teamcenter configuration, and Teamcenter architecture.

  • Hands-on knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, XML parsing, collections, threading, and Java file I/O.
