Art Director

About the Company and Role

We are partnering with a fast-growing product startup (50+ people) building a high-load global platform with a strong creative core. The company combines ambitious ideas with a strong professional culture and is now seeking an experienced Art Director to shape and lead the visual direction of its projects.

Location: Limassol, Cyprus (office).

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in gaming or creative industries;
• Strong expertise in visual concept development and implementation;
• Deep understanding of composition, color, and visual language;
• Proven track record managing art teams (in-house and outsourced);
• Experience with production workflows, pipelines, and risk assessment;
• Solid skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma; 3D/AI tools are a plus;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in stakeholder interactions.

Nice to have Requirements:

• Experience mentoring and providing feedback to creative teams;
• Background in building and scaling art teams from scratch;
• Hands-on production skills for critical stages.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain consistent visual style across projects;
• Build and manage internal and external art teams;
• Oversee deadlines, task setting, and quality of deliverables;
• Conduct art reviews, mentor and support team growth;
• Collaborate with project managers on art roadmap;
• Present concepts and solutions to leadership and stakeholders;
• Monitor quality at all production stages from concept to final assets;
• Participate directly in production when necessary.
