About the Company and Role

Our client is an international software product company in the fintech domain, specializing in a content monetization platform for creators worldwide. The company is rapidly growing and maintains a flat-structured development team of 10 professionals: CTO, Team Lead, 6 developers, QA, and an infrastructure team (DevOps and monitoring).

As the product has achieved profitability and is scaling, the company is introducing a brand-new role for a Project Manager to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Location: Remote role (European time zone only).

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:

• Proven experience in project management within IT or fintech companies (experience in product development is a plus);
• Strong organizational and strategic thinking skills;
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment;
• Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL principles;
• Proficiency in tools like Jira and Confluence;
• Excellent communication and team coordination skills;
• Ability to interact effectively with technical and business teams;
• English proficiency for communication within an international team.

Nice to have Requirements:

• Previous experience in fintech or product companies;
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
• Strategic mindset and flexibility in managing dynamic team environments.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the preparation of technical documentation by developers to support platform operations;
• Transition the product to full-scale operational readiness by empowering administrators to handle most incidents independently, organizing incident reviews, and building a comprehensive knowledge base;
• Establish and refine processes to separate development and operational workflows, including the launch and optimization of release handovers;
• Plan and coordinate releases, ensuring adherence to timelines, development processes, and quality standards, while orchestrating the efforts of analysts, developers, testers, and DevOps specialists;
• Align operational processes with ITSM/ITIL frameworks;
• Oversee the preparation and execution of PCI DSS certification;
• Gather and analyze information for project delivery, manage external contractors when needed, and maintain regular reporting and accountability.
