Risk & Reporting Analyst

We are looking for a Risk & Reporting Analyst to join the team and support investment analysis, risk monitoring, and reporting processes. This role is a great fit for someone with a strong analytical mindset who is interested in risk management, financial instruments, and working with structured financial data.

Our client is a private financial company operating in the brokerage and financial markets domain. The company focuses on data-driven decision-making, transparent risk control, and high standards of internal and regulatory reporting.

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan, full-time office role.

• Competitive salary in the range of 600,000 – 800,000 KZT net, depending on experience and qualifications;

Interview Process:

• HR screening (30-40 minutes);
• Online interview with the Financial Director;

What kind of qualifications we are looking for:

• Higher education in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field;
• Strong interest in risk management and financial analytics;
• Confident Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets;
• Analytical thinking and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of investment portfolios and individual financial instruments;
• Preparation of regular management reports;
• Participation in basic risk metrics calculations;
• Monitoring risk limits and key risk parameters;
• Preparation and consolidation of data for regulatory reporting;
• Working with large financial datasets and complex Excel models;
• Supporting internal audits and interacting with auditors when required.

Nice to have requirements:

• Previous experience in risk management, audit, or financial analytics;
• Basic knowledge of statistics and financial models.
