We are seeking an experienced Electrician with expertise in the maintenance of electrical systems including SMDBs (Sub Main Distribution Boards), DBs (Distribution Boards), LV (Low Voltage) panels, lighting control systems, and related equipment. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience and technical proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of electrical systems. With a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, the Electrician Maintenance Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on SMDBs, DBs, LV panels, lighting control systems, and associated electrical equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Diagnose electrical malfunctions and faults, utilizing technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
  3. Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan and efficiency of electrical systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and testing components.
  4. Execute repair and replacement tasks for defective electrical components, wiring, and connections, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
  5. Test electrical circuits and equipment to verify proper functionality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  6. Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and supervisors to prioritize workload and coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  7. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and service schedules.
  8. Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians as needed, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  9. Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and safety standards related to electrical maintenance.
  10. Uphold a strong commitment to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical systems and equipment.

Qualifications:

  1. ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, with a focus on SMDBs, DBs, LV panels, lighting control systems, etc.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, components, and circuits, including installation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  4. Proficiency in troubleshooting complex electrical issues and utilizing diagnostic tools effectively.
  5. Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
  8. Valid electrical license or certification as required by local regulations.
  9. Willingness to participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

The Candidate should be present in Qatar with NOC.
