Financial Controller

Are you an experienced finance professional looking for your next challenge in Private Equity? We are seeking a Alternative Investment Controller to join growing PE business.

 Location: Luxembourg

 Experience: 3-5 years in fund accounting, financial services, or related fields (ideally Big4 or investment firm) in Luxembourg.

 Industry: Private Equity / Alternative Investments

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will oversee the financial management, reporting, and governance of investment structures. Your role will involve working closely with outsourced accounting providers, supporting ownership reporting, financial analysis, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with outsourced accounting providers & ensure accurate financial reporting

• Collaborate with Fund Operations and Advisory teams on financial and tax-related matters
• Oversee financial statements, audits, and compliance for investment entities
• Support intercompany/external loan management and financial performance analysis
• Drive process improvements and technology adoption to optimize reporting and operations

What Were Looking For:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in fund accounting or alternative investments
• Strong knowledge of Lux GAAP
• Expertise in financial reporting, ownership structures, and cash flow management
• Advanced Excel skills and an analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
