Associate Director - Business Development & Sales

The Position:
  • Independent contributor
  • Report to: Senior Sales Director ASEAN
  • Subordinates: to set up a team once this incumbent settles
  • Working type: Remote working, preferably Metro Manila residents
  • Working location: Philippines
  • Local Filipino headcount - Consulting Contract

  • Identify suitable partners for every opportunity/ tenders and develop strong relationships which can secure repeat business for the company
  • Drive lead qualification, relationship development, bid/proposal preparation, contract negotiation, cost estimation, and pricing strategy for all Projects in the Philippines
  • Drive BD & Sales efforts with all existing partners to maintain and grow the current pipeline and sales for projects and services
  • Work closely with the region commercial head to implement business development & sales initiatives for the Philippines
  • Map key stakeholders in both concessionaires in Metro Manila and forge a warm and strong relationship to ensure the Company technology is given preference among others
  • Identify key decision-makers at government bodies in the field of environment and wastewater management who can be educated about the Company technology to facilitate business development initiative in the future
  • Building the Company brand beyond Metro Manila and create business opportunities with Private businesses and LGUs
  • Full accountability for delivering bookings, revenue, and GP targets for the Philippines
  • Gather market data and information about industry trends, competing technologies and organizations, competitive pricing, and technical specifications, etc.
  • Oversee coordination with the engineering team and be accountable for the compilation of bids with attention to accuracy and quality
  • Provide timely and accurate information on all potential project opportunities, including pricing/margin data, deal milestones, technical requirements, and other information collected via Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other information systems, with the goal of giving clear sales visibility and improving predictability. 
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, business ethics, codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
  • Manage and control travel and project developments expenses to meet budget guidelines

  • 10+ years of sales experiences, with at least 5-7 years of active sales in the wastewater treatment sector
  • Preferably candidates with Manila water contacts and background as this would be the major client focus for this position
