Assistant Manager , Ambulatory Operations

 Job Description:


Job Responsibilities:

  • To facilitate and coordinate the management of the relevant medical specialty or departments to achieve the mission of the Hospital; through ensuring provision of quality patient care, business and financial growth.
  • Translate and communicate the vision, strategic and business plans of the hospital to the relevant areas and ensure alignment of goals and objectives of all departments.
  • Provide guidance and directions in the management, planning, organising, coordinating and operational processes of the departments and areas assigned.
  • Identify opportunities to implement or facilitate strategies with Clinical Services Director of the relevant medical specialty as assigned to ensure services meet customers needs.
  • Develop, mentor and guide staff to ensure good leadership and succession planning.
  • Create a conducive environment to facilitate open communications, multi-disciplinary teamwork.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans for achieving customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and monitor key performances and customer service standards across Operations department to ensure customers satisfaction.
  • Ensure adequate resources are provided for services to perform to the expectations of the customers and in alignment with the Hospitals business and financial objectives.
  • Drive annual programme workplan and budgetary planning or review.
  • Set up programmes to promote continuous improvement and learning, as well as to facilitate auditing and reviewing of services and CME provided.
  • Any other projects and assignments as directed by CEO / COO / Directors

Job Requirements:

  • Basic degree & Postgraduate degree in hospital and administrative preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years of working experience in healthcare or service industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications such as Words, Excel and Power Point
