Project Manager, Enterprise Applications (2 years contract)
Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Involved in ERP transformation project and manage across a cross-functional team, which comprises the system integrator (SI), incumbent vendors, internal business users, and IT SMEs to deliver the desired business and system outcomes.
- Assist in sourcing of vendor and software.
- Ensure all requirements are aligned with internal stakeholders and communicated to vendors.
- Be involved in tender process and technical evaluation of proposals submitted.
- Review, streamline and optimise current process gaps and manual steps, drive efficiency and introduce best practices into the project.
- Gather feedback throughout project implementation stages to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage and track the scope, timeliness, milestones and committed deliverables.
- Identify project risks (internal and external), develop mitigation plans with the relevant stakeholders and ensure timely execution of the risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure project risks impacting scope, time, quality and cost of deliverables and contingencies are discussed through the appropriate escalation process in a timely manner.
- Monitor and track project progress and handle any issues that arise. Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Act as the point of contact and communicate project status adequately to all participants.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost with appropriate escalation and approvals.
- Facilitate change request process with vendor.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a collaborative culture.
- Work with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful project outcome.
- Obtain stakeholders buy-in while ensuring that they are aware of the responsibilities and deliverables, including the associated deadlines.
- Be involved in User Acceptance Test and ensure any related integrations work well.
- Facilitate training of staff and vendors on new system.
- Monitor system performance and effectiveness post Go-Live.
- Assist in any ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent with min 10 years of working experience in requirements analysis, business process, design, implementation, testing, data migration, training, deployment, and production cutover.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management
- Strong computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Work, Excel and PowerPoint, and experience in SAP B1 is an added advantage.
- Negotiation, mediation, people management skills
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Must have a positive attitude, a drive to improve process flows, able to communicate clearly, meticulous, analytical and able to work under pressure.
- Able to work after office-hours, as and when required (e.g. for support or project deployments)
- 5 days, 830am to 6pm, East area, 2 years contract
