Summary:

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Trust Care Solutions, for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants and Carers to support individuals within their own homes. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence. This position is ideal for those with strong communication skills, a caring nature, and a genuine passion for making a difference in peoples lives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients in following their individual care plans, ensuring that all needs are met effectively.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and preferences, fostering a trusting relationship.
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition, reporting these to the healthcare team as necessary.
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
  • Valid UK Drivers Licence and access to a car an advantage.
  • Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with creating and following care plans is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
  • A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need.
