Summary:
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, Trust Care Solutions, for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants and Carers to support individuals within their own homes. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and independence. This position is ideal for those with strong communication skills, a caring nature, and a genuine passion for making a difference in peoples lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in following their individual care plans, ensuring that all needs are met effectively.
- Communicate regularly with clients to understand their needs and preferences, fostering a trusting relationship.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition, reporting these to the healthcare team as necessary.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
Requirements
- Must have the right to work in the UK
- Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and colleagues.
- Valid UK Drivers Licence and access to a car an advantage.
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.
- A genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals in need.
