Finance Controller

Role Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Finance Controller to oversee the day-to-day finance operations and reporting for our growing group of entities across the region. This role will play a key part in managing financial controls, reporting, and consolidation, with strong collaboration across remote teams and external partners in Singapore, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Operations & Oversight
  • Review and approve daily journal entries posted in NetSuite by the finance team.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Month-End Close & Reporting
  • Lead the monthly closing of books across group entities.
  • Prepare and deliver consolidated monthly management accounts.
  • Review and approve all outbound invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and ensure timely disbursements.
  • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) and collections to maintain positive cash flow.
• Cash Flow & Planning
  • Produce weekly cash flow forecasts, ensuring visibility and control over liquidity across entities.
• Transfer Pricing & Intercompany Transactions
  • Manage transfer pricing requirements, ensuring proper documentation and execution of intercompany flows.
• Compliance & Reporting
  • Handle limited financial reporting to the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
  • Ensure compliance with local and regional regulatory requirements, in coordination with external advisors.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; CPA/CA qualification strongly preferred.
• 58 years of relevant experience, with a solid foundation in financial control, consolidation, and compliance.
• Strong NetSuite experience is essential.
• Proven experience working across multi-entity, multi-country operations.
• Experience working in tech startups or high-growth, non-traditional environments is highly advantageous.
• Comfort working with distributed, remote teams and managing external advisors in multiple countries.
