About the Role

We're looking for a sharp, technically-minded Technical Pre-Sales Consultant to join our Sales team. This is a step above a traditional sales support role — you'll bring the technical credibility and commercial acumen to translate complex solutions into compelling proposals that win business.

Working closely with the Sales Manager and Professional Services team, you'll own the proposal and quoting process end-to-end — from first contact to signed contract. If you thrive at the intersection of technology and sales, and you love getting the details right, this role is for you.

  • What You'll Do
  • Prepare detailed quotations, proposals and contracts in collaboration with the Account Manager, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial viability.
  • Manage the sales funnel — track opportunities, update pipeline status and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. 
  • Create and manage quotes across multiple clients and service lines with precision and speed.
  • Attend to inbound enquiries and provide clear, confident answers to sales-related queries.
  • Make outbound calls to clients to walk through proposals, address questions and follow up on
  • outstanding opportunities.
    Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals and deal progress.

    What We're Looking For

    Essential:
  • Proven experience in a technical pre-sales, solutions consulting, or senior sales support role.
  • Strong technical comprehension — you can read a scope of works, spot gaps, and ask the right questions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail — your quotes are accurate, your proposals are polished.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an outstanding phone manner.
  • Confidence presenting and discussing technical solutions directly with clients.
  • Strong time management — you juggle multiple deals without dropping the ball.
  • A can-do attitude and genuine eagerness to learn and grow.

    Highly Regarded:
  • Prior experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
  • Familiarity with IT products, services and solutions.
  • Experience with CRM or sales management platforms.
