Position Description: Finance Specialist

Client: MatchMove Pay Philippines, Inc.

Location: Remote, PH, 9AM to 6PM PHT

We are seeking a Senior FP&A / Corporate Finance professional to join our growing fintech platform. This individual contributor role is suited for a Philippines-based finance professional with strong in-house FP&A experience and the ability to deliver management-level financial analysis.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in sourcing, cleansing, and analyzing financial data, building structured forecasts, and delivering insights that support strategic decision-making across regional entities.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes across business units.
  • Own data sourcing, cleansing, and financial analysis to ensure accuracy and reliability of management reporting.
  • Prepare management-level reports and financial insights for direct CFO review.
  • Track performance across regional entities and identify key drivers of variance and trends.
  • Support investment-related processes, including preparation and maintenance of financial documentation and data rooms (where required).
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and financial analytics.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: 
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
    CPA or equivalent qualification preferred but not mandatory.

    Experience:
  • 7–10 years of in-house FP&A, corporate finance, or corporate development experience
  • Background within MNCs or regional scale-ups, preferably in technology or fintech environments
  • Experience reporting directly to a CFO or senior finance leadership
  • Exposure to multi-entity or regional operations preferred
  • Experience supporting investment or audit processes is advantageous but not required

    Technical Systems:
  • Highly proficient in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite or similar)
  • Familiarity with business intelligence tools and data analysis platforms

  • Strategic FP&A: Strong capability in forecasting, financial modeling, and management-level analysis.
  • Data & Analytics: Ability to source, cleanse, and interpret large data sets to produce actionable insights.
  • CFO-Facing Communication: Comfortable presenting financial analysis clearly and concisely to senior leadership.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to understand commercial drivers and translate numbers into strategic recommendations.
  • Ownership & Accountability: Self-starter who thrives in a high-growth, remote-first environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities with precision.
