About the job SEO Specialist (Organic Search)
Role Overview
The SEO/SEM Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising organic and paid search strategies to drive qualified traffic, improve search visibility, and maximise return on investment for Fisher Digital's clients.
This role requires a strong hybrid skill set across technical SEO, Google Ads management, analytics, and performance optimisation, with the ability to translate data into actionable growth strategies.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
· Conduct comprehensive keyword research aligned with client business goals and search intent
· Perform on page optimisation including metadata, internal linking, content structure, and technical improvements
· Execute technical SEO audits and implement recommendations (crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals)
· Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, and competitor performance
· Develop and execute backlink acquisition strategies in line with best practices
· Collaborate with content teams to optimise existing and new content
· Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends
· Support website migrations and SEO risk mitigation where required
Search Engine Marketing (SEM / Paid Search)
· Plan, build, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, and Performance Max
· Manage campaign budgets, bidding strategies, and audience targeting
· Conduct ongoing A/B testing of ad copy, creatives, and landing pages
· Monitor and improve Quality Score, CTR, CPA, and ROAS
· Implement and optimise remarketing and audience segmentation strategies
· Identify opportunities to scale high performing campaigns
· Troubleshoot campaign performance issues proactively
Analytics, Tracking and Reporting
· Implement and maintain accurate conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager
· Analyse performance using GA4, Google Ads, and Search Console
· Build clear, client ready performance reports and dashboards
· Provide insights and recommendations based on data trends
· Monitor conversion funnels and recommend CRO improvements
· Forecast traffic, leads, and paid media performance where required
Client and Stakeholder Collaboration
· Work closely with internal account managers and marketing teams
· Participate in client reporting and performance discussions when required
· Translate technical performance data into clear business insights
· Support landing page optimisation initiatives
· Align search strategies with broader digital marketing campaigns
Process Improvement and Best Practice
· Identify automation and efficiency opportunities
· Maintain documentation of campaign structures and processes
· Contribute to continuous improvement of Fisher Digital's search frameworks
· Ensure campaigns follow platform policies and industry best practice

Requirements
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (preferred but not mandatory with strong experience)
Experience
Required
· Minimum 3–5 years experience in SEO and/or SEM roles
· Proven hands on experience managing Google Ads campaigns
· Demonstrated success improving organic search performance
· Experience working with international clients (AU/US preferred)
· Experience in lead generation or performance marketing environments
