Job Description:

As a Technical Sales Manager for the European market, you will serve as the critical bridge between South Korean R&D headquarters and European OEMs/cell suppliers. Your primary mission is to eliminate communication barriers, provide real-time technical support, and influence customer roadmaps to secure long-term Business Opportunity (B/O) prospects.


Relationship Management & Availability

  • Establish and maintain "Engineer-to-Engineer" and management-level relationships through frequent in-person and online interactions.
  • Provide immediate availability for meetings within European time zones (CET), ensuring rapid response to ad-hoc technical requests.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Leverage customer proximity to gather and report critical intelligence on OEM trends and competitor activities.
  • Conduct regular updates on market shifts and refresh customer technology roadmaps to maintain a competitive edge.

Operational Flexibility (Team Support)

  • As part of a lean team, provide hands-on support for project management tasks.
  • Manage operational logistics, including arranging sample shipments and coordinating administrative requirements as needed.

Requirements

  • Communication: Native or business-level fluency in Korean (for seamless internal communication) and English (for customer-facing operations).
  • Cultural Fit: Must be culturally assimilated in the EU with the ability to navigate both Korean corporate environments and European business landscapes.
  • Technical Expertise: Proven ability to understand and discuss complex technical data in the battery or chemical industry.
  • Mindset: A proactive, flexible "can-do" attitude suited for a small, fast-paced team environment.
  • Experience: Prior experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development within the automotive/battery sector is highly preferred.
