Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team to ensure the highest standards in our precision machining environment. We are looking for a dedicated individual with quality control experience and metrology proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an efficient material receiving and dispatching inspection system.

  • Ensure compliance of processed products with specifications through metrology techniques.

  • Collaborate on material receiving inspections with the store person.

  • Provide expert metrology services for ongoing shop work.

  • Verify the conformance of incoming materials and products to specifications.

  • Perform in-process inspections and maintain related documentation.

  • Isolate and manage non-conforming products and materials.

  • Support the disposition of non-conforming reports (NCRs).

  • Conduct final inspections and document all quality control processes.

  • Maintain a register of tools and metrology equipment, ensuring calibration control.

  • Assist in data maintenance and reporting on key quality performance indicators.

  • Conduct internal audits according to the Quality Management System.

  • Contribute to Health and Safety procedures and hazard identification initiatives.

  • Promote and support Quality policies and culture within the organisation.

Ideal Skills and Experience:

  • Quality control and inspection in a Precision Machining environment.

  • Proficiency in metrology equipment and methods; CMM experience is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and a team player.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Detail-oriented with high standards of work quality.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in ERP (GSS), HMI (In touch), Microsoft Office, CRM, and other relevant software.

  • Good numeracy skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal English.
