 Job Description:

Our client is a global private bank with a strong and established presence across Asia, providing bespoke wealth management solutions to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals, family offices, and external asset managers. The firm is seeking an experienced Investment Counsellor to join its high-performing Investment Advisory team.

This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with Relationship Managers to deliver holistic, multi-asset investment advice, leveraging the firm's global research capabilities and investment platform to provide best-in-class solutions for sophisticated clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver proactive investment advisory across multi-asset portfolios to Relationship Managers, ultra-high-net-worth clients, External Asset Managers (EAMs), and Family Offices.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers in client meetings to provide strategic portfolio advice and tailored investment recommendations.
  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews to ensure alignment with clients' investment objectives, risk appetite, and market conditions.
  • Provide timely market insights, investment themes, and actionable ideas across asset classes.
  • Execute investment transactions and liaise with trading desks to obtain pricing and market quotations where required.
  • Drive asset growth through portfolio optimisation, client engagement, and disciplined investment advisory.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Product Specialists, Trading, Research, and Portfolio Advisory teams, to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of market developments, macroeconomic trends, and regulatory requirements to provide informed and compliant advice.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years' experience in Private Banking Investment Advisory, with proven exposure to NRI clients.
  • Strong expertise across multi-asset investment solutions, portfolio construction, and wealth management advisory.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise sophisticated UHNW clients and support Relationship Managers in delivering discretionary and advisory investment solutions.
  • CFA charterholder.
  • Deep understanding of global financial markets, investment products, and applicable regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A collaborative team player with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, client-centric environment.
