Fixed Income Specialist
Job Description:
Our client is an Asian private bank with a strong presence in Singapore and Hong Kong. Known for its client-centric approach and deep regional expertise, the bank offers bespoke wealth management solutions to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals across Asia. As part of its continued expansion, the bank is looking to strengthen its advisory capabilities with a dedicated Fixed Income Specialist to support its growing client base and investment team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide fixed income investment recommendations to Relationship Managers (RMs) and Investment Counsellors (ICs) across Singapore and Hong Kong, including in-depth credit analysis, and bond issue commentaries.
- Conduct market research and analysis to generate actionable fixed income ideas aligned with client risk profiles, market trends, and portfolio objectives.
- Engage directly with clients during conferences and one-on-one meetings to present market updates, introduce new bond issues, and design bespoke fixed income portfolio strategies.
- Prepare and maintain marketing materials for key bond offerings, and manage post-sale follow-up including performance tracking and client communication on evolving market views.
- Collaborate with Product, Compliance, and Sales teams to ensure ideas meet regulatory standards and are effectively positioned within the platform.
- Stay abreast of global macroeconomic developments, credit events, and regulatory changes impacting the fixed income landscape.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Fixed Income Advisor or Fixed Income Specialist within private banking or wealth management.
- Strong expertise in credit analysis and fixed income product advisory across various bond structures, sectors, and geographies.
- CACS Paper 1 & 2 certification is required.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, with the ability to communicate investment ideas clearly to Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset and the ability to build trust and credibility with high-net-worth individuals and internal stakeholders.
