Night Shift Transport Coordinator | Co. Dublin

Perform Recruitment is looking for an experienced Night Shift Transport Coordinator to join a growing transport operations team in Co. Dublin.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can think quickly under pressure, and is eager to take responsibility for ensuring that transport operations run smoothly throughout the night. You'll be the key link between drivers, warehouse staff, and customers, keeping everything moving when most of the country is asleep.

What You'll Be Doing

• Take ownership of transport operations during night hours

• Monitor driver routes, deliveries, and trailer activity in real time

• Organise collections and shipments to and from Dublin Port

• Resolve issues as they arise, ensuring minimal disruption to schedules

• Liaise with drivers, warehouse teams, and customs agents to keep plans on track

• Prepare delivery paperwork and ensure a clear handover for the day team

• Maintain excellent levels of customer service via phone and email

What We Are Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in transport, logistics, or dispatching

• Strong organisational skills and a proactive, problem-solving approach

• Excellent communication skills, confident over the phone and via email

• Ability to work independently overnight while also being a team player

• High attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure

• Knowledge of Dublin Port operations or customs processes is a bonus (training can be provided)

• Flexibility and commitment to night shift work
