Maintenance Electrician

About the Role:
Perform Recruitment is currently seeking a Fully Qualified Electrician on behalf of our client, a well-renowned food manufacturing company based in Drogheda. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and plant systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current regulations and internal safety standards.
• Work closely with the maintenance and production teams to support daily operations.

• Respond promptly to breakdowns and diagnose faults efficiently.

Requirements:

• Fully qualified electrician with valid trade certification (e.g., QQI Level 6, Electrical National Craft Certificate).
• Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments, ideally in food production.

• Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and fault-finding.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
