AI Solutions Engineer

Our client is a fast-growing US-based AI-automation agency that helps small and mid-sized businesses scale through Digital Employees low-code AI agents that remove manual work, cut costs, and unlock growth. As demand accelerates, they need a hands-on engineer to design, consult clients and build AI-powered solutions.

This role sits at the intersection of AI automation, client consultation, and system reliability. You'll handle client-reported matters while actively consulting and improving AI workflows and integrations in production.


What Youll Do

• Design & build Digital Employees on the Relevance AI platform (training provided).
• Create end-to-end automations in n8n / Upgrade / Airtable that connect phones, CRMs, billing, email and more.
• Integrate AI capabilities via OpenAI and related APIs to handle sales enquiries, support tickets and data processing.
• Develop third-party integrations (REST APIs, webhooks) across CRMs, accounting tools and other business systems.
• Maintain & optimise existing automations; troubleshoot issues, improve reliability and document processes.
• Collaborate with AI Implementation Specialists and Client Success Managers, meeting 8-week delivery timelines.
• Serve in a client-facing consultation role, working directly with clients to understand issues, provide updates, and help resolve matters across AI workflows and automation systems.
• Troubleshoot workflow failures, API issues, and integration problems, investigate root causes, and implement effective fixes across platforms such as n8n, Make, Zapier, and similar tools.

• Secondary: Zapier, assorted CRM & SaaS APIs
• Languages: JavaScript, Python

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical capability in JavaScript and Python
• Hands-on production experience with n8n, Upgrade, Zapier, or similar workflow automation platforms
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and automation architecture across connected systems
• Proven ability to design and deliver scalable business workflow automations in real-world environments
